Alice Glivens Jeffries

*Born in Hale County, Alabama in 1877.  Alice was the sixth child, fourth daughter born to Tom and Fannie.

 

*Alice was wife and homemaker to entrepreneur Willie Edward Brown (1874-1943).  They married April 6, 1897 in Hale County.

 

*Twelve children were born to this union:

 Willie Edward, Jr. 1900-1965

 Joseph Stanley 1902-1963

 Alice Glivens  1904-1995

 Andrew Jeffries 1906-1992

 George S.  1908-1988

 John Thomas  1911-1976

 James Ernest  1915-2002

 Henry Otis  1917-1982

 Walter   1918-1918

 Percy Lee  1921-1997

 

*Alice and W.E. made their home in Hale County, living in close proximity to Tom and Fannie.
