Walter Jeffries

Second Generation | 1881-1905

*Born in Hale County, Alabama in 1881.  Walter was the eighth child, third son born to Tom and Fannie.

*Walter married Mattie Collins (1881-1951) on January 23, 1902 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Allenville, Alabama.

*Two children were born to this union:

 Amy Lillian  1902-1943

 Walter Louis   1904-1963

*Walter and Mattie lived in Hale County until his tragic death at age 24.
