Thomas Dilworth Jeffries

*Born in Hale County, Alabama in 1875. Fifth child and second son, Thomas was named for his father.

 

*A carpenter and farmer, Tommie married Nancy Annie Willis (1877-1946) on January 19, 1898 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Allenville, Alabama.

 

*Ten children were born to this union:

 Olivia Louise  1902-1977

 Joseph Thomas 1904-1997

 Willie Levert  1906-2002

 Unnamed Twin 1906-1906

 James Albert  1908-2000

 Mayme Elizabeth 1915

 

Tommie and Nannie made their home in Hale County, across the road from Tom and Fannie.
